LAURA PATERSON
Hi, I am Laura and I am a personal trainer here at Performance Gym in Kilwinning.
I have over 8 years experience working in the fitness industry and I have developed as a coach to help many clients through their weight loss, pre/post natal and injury rehabilitation journeys.
I understand that each person faces different challenges and is working towards different goals, therefore, I tailor my approach to meet the specific needs of my clients to ensure you get the most out of your time working with me.
I am currently studying a Masters Degree in Strength and Conditioning where I have gained experience working first hand with both amateur and professional athletes.
This experience has enhanced my ability to provide clients with the latest evidence-based training techniques to reduce their risk of injury and improve their sporting performance.
What I offer:
Training Package - Come in, train hard, get out! This is a training only package where you will get a weekly training session to push you out of your comfort zone.
Coaching Package - Along with a weekly training session you will also receive nutrition support and a training plan specific to your goal whether that be weight loss, pre/post natal or injury rehabilitation.
Sports Package - This package aims to meet your sport-specific goals. It includes a sport specific needs analysis, weekly training session to work on training techniques specific to your sport, a periodised training plan and nutrition support to help reduce inquiry risk and improve sports performance.

MIKE HENDERSON
Hi I’m Mike Henderson a Personal Trainer here at Performance Gym Kilwinning.
With over a decade of experience working in the fitness industry—and more than 20 years of training personally—I bring a deep passion and commitment to helping people improve their health, strength, and performance.
My journey started with martial arts, and that foundation has shaped everything I do today as a coach.
Over the years, I’ve trained in various martial arts and gone on to support local Boxing and MMA clubs, working with people of all ages and skill levels—from beginners just starting out to pro fighters preparing for competition.
I understand the dedication and discipline it takes to train hard, and I bring that same energy to every session I run.
Throughout my career as a personal trainer, I’ve worked in a variety of gym environments. I’ve led bootcamps, group fitness classes, and countless 1-to-1 personal training sessions.
Whether you're new to the gym or looking to take your training to the next level, I tailor each program to meet your specific needs and goals.

LEIGH PATERSON
Hi, I’m Leigh a Personal Trainer here at Performance Gym Kilwinning
With over 15 years of experience in the fitness industry — including a background in the British Army — I bring discipline, knowledge, and real-world experience to every session.
My goal is to help you build confidence both in and out of the gym by creating a supportive, motivating environment.
I work closely with each client to set clear goals and build a sustainable plan to achieve them — whether that’s gaining muscle, increasing strength, or losing weight.
